Dentures have long been coined as the 'dark arts' of dentistry and some dental students and dentists feel they are being superseded by dental implants. Dentures are dated back to 2500 BC and were made from what appears to be wolf's teeth. Winston Churchill, the British Prime Minister during World War 2 was so anxious about losing his dentures, that he always carried a spare set. He valued the skill of his dentist so highly that he nominated him for a knighthood.
