Aims and Scope: The Asian Journal of Andrology (AJA) is an international peer-reviewed journal. It is the official journal of the Asian Society of Andrology, and is sponsored by the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. AJA focuses on new basic and clinical (including modern, traditional and epidemiological) research on andrology. AJA also publishes announcements of meetings, postgraduate courses, symposia and other similar events of interest to andrologists.

Fields of particular interest to the journal include, but are not limited to:

  • Male reproductive health
  • Cellular and molecular mechanism of sperm biology
  • Anatomical and functional studies of male reproductive system
  • Male infertility
  • Male ageing
  • Male sexual dysfunction
  • Prostate diseases
  • Environmental, life style and genetic factors and men's health

Readership: The Asian Journal of Andrology appeals to clinical and research andrologists, urologists and nephrologists, as well as sexual health and reproduction researchers and clinicians.
