A tornado over the Corinthian Gulf (Greece), observed on a cloudy day in December 2007. Maria Iliou, a biologist and PhD student of the University of Patras, captured this spectacular vortex of air and water with her camera, realizing that "you need not be an expert or a professional photographer to immortalize in your own way such wonderful and powerful moments of Mother Nature."
