Co-Existent Crescentic Glomerulonephritis and Renal Amyloidosis in a Patient With Polyarthritis

A 77-year-old patient with a history of arthritis presents with nephrotic syndrome and progressive renal failure. On renal biopsy he is found to have coexisting anti-GBM antibody-associated crescentic GN and AA amyloidosis. The implications of finding this rare combination are discussed.
