Welcome to the Spanish Edition of Kidney International

The Spanish edition of Kidney International (KI) is published quarterly, each edition featuring articles selected by the editorial team from recent issues of KI.

Launched in July 2005, the Spanish edition is edited by Bernardo Rodriguez-Iturbe, who has long been in the forefront of the study of nephrology. Working with co-editors Jesus Egido and Sergio Mezzano, Dr Iturbe's aim is to bring the best of recent advances in the field to investigators in Spanish-speaking countries who may not speak or read English.

Nuestro objetivo es propiciar que los nefrólogos de habla hispana y portuguesa tengan acceso rápido a los artículos de la edición inglesa de mayor impacto clínico a corto plazo. Los artículos seleccionados serán traducidos al español y portugués y serán entregados a tiempo y gratuitamente a los nefrólogos latinoamericanos y de la península ibérica.'
