Welcome to the Portuguese Edition of Kidney International

The Portuguese edition of Kidney International (KI) is published quarterly, each edition featuring articles selected by the editorial team from recent issues of KI.

Launched in July 2005, the Portuguese edition is edited by Bernardo Rodriguez-Iturbe, who has long been in the forefront of the study of nephrology. Working with co-editors Miguel Carlos Riella and Fernando Carrera, Dr Iturbe's aim is to bring the best of recent advances in the field to investigators in Spanish-speaking countries who may not speak or read English.

'Kidney Internacional é uma revista de referência na nossa especialidade. Nosso objetivo é propiciar aos nefrologistas de lingua espanhola e portuguesa um acesso rápido aos artigos da edição inglesa de maior impacto clínico a curto prazo. Os artigos selecionados serão traduzidos para o espanhol e português e serão entregues a tempo e gratuitamente aos nefrologistas latino americanos e da península ibérica.'
