China is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for biotechnology and pharmaceutical research, and the MGH-HKU-Nature China Forum will highlight the opportunities and challenges in this rapidly evolving country. This two-day forum will bring together leading academic and industry scientists worldwide to discuss the advances in molecular medicine in China, and identify important market opportunities - from stem cell research to cardiovascular disease. Senior executives from biopharmaceutical companies will reveal how China is playing a key role in biotechnology and pharmaceutical R & D, provide first-hand experiences of navigating the unique and complex scientific, regulatory and intellectual property issues, and discuss the current and future environment for partnering strategies. The MGH-HKU-Nature China Forum will be of interest to any scientific or business leader who is looking to explore the growing potential of this country.
Extension of early-bird registration & abstract submission deadline: February 15, 2007
With the enthusiastic support of sponsorship, the University of Hong Kong is pleased to offer a limited number of complimentary registration to faculty members of all local academic institutions and participants from the mainland China in attending the event on a first-come-first-serve basis. Interested parties please return the completed registration form to the Secretariat before February 15, 2007. Moreover, participants with abstract accepted for the poster presentation will enjoy a waiver of registration fee.
