Cell Shape and Polarity: Lymphocytes and Beyond

The Fondation IPSEN, Nature Immunology and Nature Cell Biology are pleased to announce an Emergence & Convergence mini-symposium: Cell Shape and Polarity: Lymphocytes and Beyond September 29, 2008, Gleacher Center, Chicago, Illinois, USA

Registration for this meeting is now CLOSED.

Cell shape and polarity influence the migration, division and differentiation of many cell types, including lymphocytes. This one-day mini-symposium aims to promote discussion between immunologists and cell biologists studying the molecular mechanisms underlying cell polarization, synapse formation and asymmetric cell division, as well as the influence of these processes on cell fate determination and function. Key similarities and differences between different model systems and cell types will be highlighted.
