Mercury in transit across the Sun tomorrow.
Amateur astronomers are gearing up to watch our elusive neighbour Mercury make a five-hour dash across the Sun tomorrow.
Mercury's silhouette won't blot out the Sun - the planet is one-third the size of Earth and a long way from us.
