Referring to this Buran as Buran II is not terribly accurate, as it is a test article, not a successor to the flight Buran. This vehicle is actually the OK-GLI atmospheric analogue, comparable in purpose, if not design, to the US Space Shuttle Enterprise. Also, the 25 atmospheric test flights were all piloted.
