  • So the new legislation unfairly targets Alaska? Here's a crazy idea: apply the legislation to all US states. Simple, fair and effective. It's not like emissions originating in Florida don't affect the arctic. And besides, the US is going to have to start to control its greenhouse emissions eventually. Maybe when the rest of the world has signed onto Kyoto (or is descendents) and the US is the odd man out. I wonder what happens if a permanent member of the UN security council becomes the only nation that undermines international security?
