I find it, to say the least, surprising that the only comment made by Nature about this fossil is about its purported monetary value (US$ 400,000) - nothing about its possible scientific significance. This is bound to encourage more illegal dealing in fossils: they are just things that are bought and sold, who cares about their importance to science ? I would like to know who has put a price tag on this fossil...
