27 March 2004: Cassini is now about 47.7 million kilometres from Saturn. This is the last time that the whole planet can be seen with the probe's narrow angle camera. The bright blue sliver of light in the northern hemisphere is sunlight passing through Saturn's rings and being scattered by the cloud-free upper atmosphere.
