US $15 million invested

AstraZeneca is rising to the challenge with the addition of a new US $15 million Process R&D facility in Bangalore, India. This facility will complement our work towards our ultimate goals, to:

• Reduce therapy duration
• Eradicate latent disease
• Combat drug resistance
• Ensure anti-HIV therapy compatibility

Combining forces

The combined force of this new state-of-the-art laboratory complex with our three-year-old Discovery R&D facility in Bangalore and the Boston Infection research group will help to accelerate our research into TB.
